Match Report Press Report

Wykeham 1 Lost to Trojans 1.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 4 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 5 string should have been the closest, with only 11 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Alfie Lawes winning through.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 99 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Sam McCarthy.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 3 string, Charles Black, gaining 70 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 3 string, Charles Black, who over-turned a 260 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
