Portsmouth Squash 1 Beat IOW 3 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 18 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Andy Haslin, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 73 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, HenryMurray Smith.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 2 string, HenryMurray Smith, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

With 3 strings going the distance, the match turned out to be a hard-fought battle.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, HenryMurray Smith, who over-turned a 573 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
Unranked Portsmouth player Steve Perry to be added before next period.
