Match Report Press Report

Five Rivers 3 Lost to Lee-on-Solent 4 in a close match.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 16 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Steve Blundell, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 52 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Steve Blundell.

Player of the tie was the Home No. 5 string, Dan Carter, gaining 70 Ranking Points from the match.

If the Home No. 3 player, Mark Potts, had not had to withdraw after 3 game(s) the result could have been closer.
